AIPT Holds "New 2-Speed Transaxle Line-off Ceremony" to Celebrate ASEAN's First Hybrid Product

On December 19, 2024, AISIN Powertrain (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (AIPT) hosted the "New 2-Speed Transaxle Line-off Ceremony" at its facility. The event was honored by Mr. Thawatchai Sreethong, Governor of Chonburi Province, as the chairperson. The ceremony also welcomed executives from Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd., representatives from various government agencies, and distinguished guests.


Notable attendees included Mr. Noriyuki Kitazato, President of AISIN Group in the ASEAN region, Mr. Masahiro Kamei, President of AIPT, and Mr. Ryoji Takami, Director of AISIN Corporation. Together with other executives, they celebrated this significant milestone for AIPT and the AISIN Group.


The highlight of the ceremony was the unveiling of AIPT’s new hybrid product, a groundbreaking 2-speed transaxle system that integrates the powertrains of both electric and internal combustion engines. This product marks a significant achievement for AISIN Group as its first hybrid product manufactured in the ASEAN region.


This launch underscores AIPT’s pride in supplying innovative, high-quality products to leading automotive manufacturers in Thailand.
