On August 6, 2024, AISIN Autoparts (Thailand) Co., Ltd. organized a "Safety To School" activity at Mandanarumol School to enhance safety knowledge and reduce fatal accidents among children. The initiative, targeting students across different grade levels, aimed to instill a sense of responsibility and awareness regarding safe driving and adherence to traffic rules.

Part 1: Drawing Contest
The first part of the activity was a drawing contest centered around the theme “New Generation, Safe Driving and Following the Traffic Rules.” A total of 2,700 students were invited to participate, creating entries that reflected their understanding of safety and responsibility. This creative exercise encouraged students to think critically about the importance of following traffic rules and the role of the younger generation in promoting road safety.

Part 2: Activity-Based Learning
The second part focused on hands-on, activity-based learning tailored to the specific needs of students in higher grades:

• First Aid/CPR Training for Grade 10 Students: Grade 10 students received first aid and CPR training, equipping them with essential skills to assist in emergencies and potentially save lives.

• Safe Driving Education for Grades 11-12: Students in grades 11 and 12 received safe driving training. In collaboration with the Yamaha Riding Academy (YRA), they learned about motorcycle structures, safe riding techniques, and strict adherence to traffic rules. This training is crucial as these students begin to drive independently.

Through this dual approach of creative expression and practical learning, the activity successfully engaged students in understanding and practicing safety measures crucial to reducing fatal accidents. We hope these initiatives will foster a generation of responsible drivers who prioritize road safety.
